March 26, 2018: A Transparency Committee

“It is my intention to follow through on a commitment that I made a little over a year ago to establish an Advisory Committee to the Chancellor on the Endowment.”

Fossil Free WashU and WUFUSED met with Chancellor Wrighton last week to advocate for the creation of a transparency committee to address questions of investment and socioeconomic diversity at WashU.

As of 2019 the transparency committee still has yet to be created, but Fossil Free continues to advocate for it as we believe that it will hold the university accountable and will be a catalyst for positive change and student engagement.
